stsmithvaI read about Alan Bean's iconic gold and black Corvette appearing at the National Mall this week, and after calling the Historic Vehicle Association to confirm that it was there 24/7, I dragged my family there after a play at the Kennedy Center last night.

It's in a brilliantly-lit box right in between the National Air and Space Museum and the National Gallery of Art. Tonight is the last night it will be there. Head on down!

(The play was "Cats." "Mungojerrie and Rumpleteazer" was particularly enchanting, especially for the kids.)
